Katia Caruana started her career in the Public Service at the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic and held various administrative roles there. She then served for thirteen years at the Office of the Chief Justice and President of the Constitutional Court administering the Chief Justice’s Secretariat, whereby she gained deep and insightful experience on the administration of justice and court procedure. She studied several areas of law, and the communication media coupled with other humanistic and social sciences. She holds a Bachelor Degree with Honours and is a Master Graduate. She has served as Director for the Department of Justice since 2015.
